Gift Ideas For Coworkers

Jingle bells, batman smells robin laid an egg. You know the rest, and unless you're looking to lay an egg at your teams holiday party, follow our advice!

With the holidays in full swing, you may be finding yourself feeling extra merry about your co-workers. If you'd like to do something nice for your team or join in on the office gift exchange feeling confident, browse my helpful guide below!  I've put together a quick list of gift ideas your co-workers are bound to love (and you won't be forced to break the bank or re-gift!)

Magazine Subscription

Have a runner or your team? What about a cook, a baker or a candlestick maker? Whatever their passion, there's a magazine for it! Whether you decide on an e-subscription or not, most magazines offer a six month option if you're looking to save some cash. A magazine subscription is a personalized gift that provides smiles for months to come!

I-Tunes Gift Card

I'm a sucker for anything that lights up and makes noise, so an iTunes gift card would be awesome for a tech fool like me! With dollar amounts you can easily control, an iTunes gift card can be as large or as small of a gesture you prefer and I'm certain your gift will be well received!

Cookie, Candy Or Brownie Delivery

Google the above and you'll be smacked in the face with all kinds of tasty options to share with your team! Let's face it, everyone's diet is already shot so why not pile on? I 've received this type of gift in the past and it was the coolest surprise to find on my doorstep!

Starbucks Or Dunkin Donuts

Who doesn't love a latte or a donut? Like iTunes, you can easily control the dollar amount spent on a Starbucks or Dunkin card and everyone will love this gift! A small gesture goes a long way!

Giving a book seems geeky, but that's me! I love reading books and sharing them with people I think will enjoy them. Take time to consider what the other person will enjoy, don't just share your favorite Hunger Games book. When thoughtful consideration is given, the receiver will know you bought the book with them in mind!

Beer And Wine

I know, this one is a total snore! Hear me out. Even though this seems like a give up gift, everyone likes an adult beverage around the holidays. So, as boring as it may sound, alcohol really is a fun gift that most everyone will appreciate! Just check your employee handbook before dragging booze into the office. Some HR teams frown on this!

Metro Card Or Subway Fare

I live in the city and I couldn't live without my Metro card. While subway fare isn't the sexiest gift, for any professional living in the city, it will be appreciated! A free ride to work rocks, so don't underestimate the value of this gift!

ReResumeMe Gift Card

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention a gift card from ReResumeMe!! If you have a peer who is struggling with writing their resume, landing a new role or just getting their career figured out, a gift card from ReResumeMe will get them on the right track in a hurry! Also, it's a great tool to use if you're hoping to push an annoying co-worker out of the nest : )

Post It Notes

If you aren't interested in spending money on your team, scale back! Head into the office early and place a post it note on everyone's desk thanking them for their efforts. Let them know why you appreciate them. Unique and heartfelt, this gesture is something everyone will value.

Hopefully my list has helped you find the perfect inexpensive gift for your coworkers! Whatever you decide, don't stress about it! The holidays should be filled with fun, love and kindness. Remember it's the thought that counts!
